Article I
Fundamental Rights and Equal Protection

Section 1: Freedom of Expression and Belief

No law shall be enacted that limits the rights to freedom of speech, religion, press, peaceful assembly, or the right to petition the government for redress of grievances. These rights are protected from infringement by any law, entity, or authority including a person’s information and privacy.

Section 2: Equal Protection and Non-Discrimination

Every individual possesses unalienable rights, including bodily autonomy and the fundamental right to freedom from enslavement. No person shall be held in slavery or involuntary servitude.

No person shall be denied equal protection under the law or subjected to discrimination by any individual, organization, corporation, institution, or government entity based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, or reproductive healthcare and autonomy.

Section 3: Anti-Discrimination Measures

Nothing in this article shall invalidate or restrict the creation or enforcement of laws, regulations, programs, or practices designed to prevent or dismantle discrimination based on the characteristics listed above. Furthermore, this article shall not be interpreted to limit or deny civil rights based on other protected characteristics.
